Where Do You Park?

Rough Draft and More Will Be Added

Seems as if you can never choose the perfect parking spot.

Striped, yellow lines in the center, allowing for plenty of room for handicap accessibility.

Up by the store basically the sidewalk. No sign showing “No motorized vehicles”

Parking spot = getting knocked over and they drive off.

Very back of the parking lot. Again, knocked possibility. Sit on your bike and take pictures. Go through your storage compartments, especially homeless.

Best option being……………… “Just Don’t Care”! “Ride or Die and Ride Free”!

This particular instance… is as follows… I parked on the sidewalk, handicap area, in front of the parking spots allowing plenty of room for handicap vans to open up. Plenty of room for wheelchairs, not to mention there may not be a lot of wheelchairs as I am parking in front of the gym. Guy attempted to jump the parking space curb going over and hitting my bike and the jumped back over. Removing paint from my custom painted saddle bags. O… I waited for him… Being private property, the Police Department do not show up unless there is an “altercation”. They came out being two very big gentleman with no visibly physical disability and covered in sweat as if they had just a great work out. One being a Washington D.C. Cop and the son of the Father who “Tapped” my bike.

They attempted to intimidate me with his Badge but seeing how I know enough about my rights to let that fall by the wayside. I said, “I called the police department so I wouldn’t leave until they get here”. Not knowing much but knowing I never called the police department. I had a feeling we were going to be there for a while and maybe they were going to have their whole morning waisted because I may have “forgot” to make that phone call. After about an hour and half they basically agreed to exchange information. I never followed up with them or the insurance company.
